ABOUT

I have always been drawn to understanding why people adapt the way they do. Early in my training, I became aware that trauma is rarely contained to a single memory or event, it reorganizes the nervous system, shapes internal parts, influences attachment patterns, and solidifies core beliefs about self and safety. This recognition led me toward EMDR and parts-based therapy, and ultimately toward developing a more layered understanding of healing.
Over time, both professionally and personally, I have explored multiple approaches to growth and transformation. What I have found is that healing does not occur through one method alone. There are many entry points, and each layer of work offers deeper access to self-understanding. At its core, healing is less about fixing what is broken and more about removing the internal barriers that obscure clarity. The answers often already exist within; our work is to gently dismantle the beliefs, protective strategies, and patterns that block access to them.

My approach reflects this philosophy: structured, intentional, and grounded in evidence-based practice, while honoring the complexity of each individual. I am particularly interested in attachment, identity formation, and the ways early relational experiences continue to shape adult life.I grew up across the United States, Germany, and Peru, experiences that shaped my respect for cultural nuance and adaptation. I am also a mother and hold a yoga teacher certification, both of which continue to inform my understanding of embodiment, resilience, and human development.
